Resumo
Discussions about the Environment have intensified in recent years, but since the beginning of the 1970s, with the Stockholm Conference, this issue has been raised. Countless environmental tragedies, most due to human action, that is, related to the distant way in which human beings relate to nature. In this text we will approach the concepts of prevention and precaution, presenting the themes and bringing discussions and studies on them. In this way, we intend to collaborate so that there is a better understanding of the terms and the way they are covered from the perspective of Environmental Law. It is also expected to provide reflections that contribute to decision-making in light of the real need to preserve the environment.
