Abstract
Volume I of this section has a relevant debate on political rights and female participation in Brazilian politics and the judiciary, in addition to reflecting the relationship between the effectiveness of rights in a traditionally sexist society. It is in this context that we can understand the relevance of this volume I, as it allows us to reflect on our social problems and propose improvements to our reality, in order to achieve a more egalitarian world.
