Abstract
The main objective of the study is to determine the relationship between graphic organizers and the competencies of the CTA area in nine educational institutions of the UGEL 01. The study was quantitative, the population consisted of 714 students, using a sample of 250 students. The instruments used were a survey with a polynomial rating scale and a questionnaire, validity was performed by expert judgement and reliability was determined by the Cronbach alpha coefficient and the Kuder-Richardson coefficient (KR-20) for the questionnaire and survey respectively. To contrast the hypotheses we use,non-parametric statistics and Rho de Spearman. The results obtained concluded that there is a positive and significant correlation between the variables analyzed, by obtaining a value of 0.621 so it is recommended to increase the use of graphic organizers in teaching practice to improve the competences of the CTA area.
