PIBID AS A STIMULUS TO TEACHING PRACTICE AND TO IMPROVE THE TRAINING OF PUBLIC NETWORK STUDENTS

Abstract

The Institutional Program for the Initiation of Scholarships and Initiation to Teaching (PIBID) is conceived as an instrument for the formation of the teacher, and involves the undergraduate and EAD degrees from the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN). Together, this program assists in the complementation and training of students in basic education, giving them various pedagogical methods in the course of classes, based on the use of freer topics without evaluation focus. The methodology of this work consists of a descriptive research, which presents a documentary character and is characterized as spontaneous, since it was through behavioral observation and questionnaire application as a data collection instrument, that made it possible to reach the objectives listed to follow, as well as, credible results. The objectives are to describe the importance of the program of initiation to teaching for undergraduate students and students of public schools; analyze the influence of technological resources used in class; reveal the influence of classes on student curriculum assessments and meaningful student learning. The expected results aim to corroborate the effectiveness of PIBID, the qualification of undergraduate students and the training of public school students. In summary, we can conclude that, the use of technology has proved to be a relevant factor in the classes, since several technological resources were used, among them the data show, cellular, sound box and monitors. In this way, the interactivity of students and teachers is reached more broadly, in addition to obtaining significant quantitative in what concerns the school performance of the classes.
