Abstract
This article aims to analyze the role of court officers in enforcing the protective measures of the Maria da Penha Law. The methodology adopted in this work is qualitative in nature, based on a recent literature review (last five years), covering scientific articles, legislation, institutional manuals, and reports from the Judiciary. The authors included authors such as Lemos (2020), Souza (2023), and Barros (2021), whose academic contributions directly address the operationalization of the Maria da Penha Law and the role of legal professionals. Furthermore, the technique of document analysis is used to interpret CNJ guidelines and resolutions that address the role of court officers in domestic violence cases. It concludes that this work aims to contribute to the public and legal debate on the importance of court officers in the application of the Maria da Penha Law, seeking not only to enhance their role but also to contribute to a more agile, humane, and effective justice system. Protecting women in situations of violence is not the exclusive responsibility of one institution, but of the entire justice system, and the court officer is one of the pillars of this construction.
