Abstract
This ebook presents an intercultural experience in the rights of children and adolescents of the Romani people, carried out in Brasília/DF, as part of the Professional Development Course in Public Policies for Indigenous, Quilombola, and Traditional Peoples at the University of Brasília. Focusing on valuing cultural diversity and promoting rights, the work highlights dialogical and reflective practices aimed at the actions of public agents, educators, and professionals working with traditional communities. Through participatory dynamics, theoretical texts, and accounts of experiences, the material seeks to improve the care provided to Romani children and adolescents, promoting a more sensitive, respectful, and inclusive understanding of the specificities of this community, contributing to the construction of fairer and more intercultural public policies.
