Abstract

This book reflects the value we should place on the soil and the environment we use daily, aiming to discuss the importance and impact of human actions on planet Earth. Each chapter was written mostly by PhD holders, supplemented by specialist authors in the proposed chapters. The book's main focus was to be multidisciplinary, using scientific language but with a holistic perspective to reach everyone, because science should be aimed at the population so that its readers can popularize and disseminate the research. Furthermore, creative and wellness-related ideas on the subject were also incorporated.
