Abstract
This work proposes a critical reflection on the integration between health and education in the face of contemporary challenges. By exploring interdisciplinarity and the articulation between teaching, service, and community, it highlights pathways to a more humanized education committed to social reality. It also discusses the strategic role of health education in promoting autonomy and equity within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). With a theoretical and practical approach, it brings together relevant contributions for professionals, students, and researchers in the field. It is an invitation to the construction of integrated knowledge aimed at social transformation.
