Abstract
Objective: To analyze the profile of women with ovarian cancer between 2018 and 2022 in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. Methods: a descriptive study with a quantitative approach was carried out using data from women diagnosed with ovarian cancer registered in the hospital records of the José Alencar Gomes da Silva National Cancer Institute. Results: in the period between 2018 and 2022, 101 cases of patients with ovarian cancer were registered. Conclusion: the women who were diagnosed with ovarian cancer were in the older age group, brown, with low schooling, married, with a significant history of alcoholism and smoking and cancer in the family, the cancer clinic was advanced in the degree of carcinogenesis, adenocarcinoma was the most common histological type, right laterality was the most frequent, Surgery was the most commonly used therapeutic modality, and partial remission was achieved in most cases one year after the beginning of treatment.
