ABA is a methodology based on behavioral principles that aims to improve and strengthen socially important behaviors, including communication skills. The main objective of this research is to indicate the benefits of using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to stimulate speech in autistic children. The aim is to analyze how this methodology can contribute to the development of these children’s communicative skills, promoting their better social inclusion and quality of life. The research question that guides this study is: “What are the benefits of using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in stimulating autistic children? And why does this method have better results?” To answer this question, a literature review, case study analysis and direct observation in therapeutic contexts were carried out. The results indicate that ABA, when applied correctly and consistently, can generate significant progress in the development of speech and the general communicative capacity of children with autism. This should be an individualized structure and the focus on positive reinforcement that characterizes this approach. This work hopes to contribute to the understanding of the benefits of ABA in the field of Speech Therapy and to the promotion of more effective therapeutic practices in the treatment of children with ASD.
Priscilla Souza de Sá Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-03-11 2024-03-11 5 02 01 16 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1936 MY AFTERNOONS WITH MARGUERITTE https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1937
This review offers us a sensitive look at the inclusion of children with ASD. Initially, the problems faced by Brazilian education are contextualized, with an emphasis on the importance of examining the quality of education in remote regions such as Alto Solimões. The literature review addresses fundamental concepts about education, highlighting the universality and complexity of the educational phenomenon. Next, the indicators and criteria used to evaluate the quality of education are discussed, adapted to the specific context of Tonantins, in Amazonas. Data analysis reveals the main challenges faced by education in this region, such as precarious infrastructure and a lack of qualified professionals. In addition, the prospects for improvement and ongoing initiatives to promote the quality of education are evaluated, such as continuing training programs for teachers and projects to improve school infrastructure. The survey results provide important insights into the obstacles and opportunities for improving education in these municipalities. Finally, implications for educational practice and suggestions for future research are discussed, highlighting the importance of local community involvement in educational management and the need for more effective and inclusive educational investments and policies in these remote regions.
German Aquiles Linhares Gouvea Gézimo Nascimento Martins Valdira Nascimento Martins Sidney da Costa dos Santos Wilsinho dos Santos Cobos Emerson Penaforth Pinto Givanildo Cobos dos Santos Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-03-11 2024-03-11 5 02 27 52 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1938 HISTORY TEACHING IN THE FACE OF A NEW AND CHALLENGING HISTORICAL CONTEXT https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1939
The aim of this text is to discuss the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching and learning process in the subject of history. The topic was chosen as a result of the current technological scenario, which provides new configurations of social relations and allows for changes in various areas of people’s lives. Technology is currently embedded in all spaces and scenarios in society, and this is no different in the educational context. When used in the context of education, it allows for various possibilities of application, such as the use of digital media in classrooms, the implementation of virtual learning environments - in which it is possible to post content, lessons and interactions between teachers and students, as well as between students - in addition to countless other applications of technological resources, such as computers, tablets, among other tools. We also point out suggestions, possible paths, promoting reflection on teaching practice, in which teachers should need too adapt to new technologies.
Genivaldo Bezerra Cavalcanti Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-03-11 2024-03-11 5 02 53 69 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1939 EDUCATION IN DIVERSITY https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1940
Introduction: Students with special educational needs are included in the perspective of inclusive education, which, in recent years, has gained prominence and has been widely discussed Objective: to carry out a survey of some works from the last 6 years that cover the theme of Education and teaching pedagogical practice in the proposal for inclusive education Methodology: This is a descriptive literature review with qualitative characteristics in the Scielo and Google Scholar databases in articles published, in Portuguese, between 2015 and 2021. In this sense, the perception of the concept of school manager has become broader, involving all aspects that directly or indirectly influence the quality of education in a given school institution. In this context, this article seeks to investigate how the continued training of school managers influences the quality of management performance and, consequently, the development of pedagogical planning that cooperates with the insertion of pedagogical practices based on the use of ICT and the adoption of a methodology from an innovative perspective.
André Luís Bender Elizangela Carla Beserra da Fonseca Helen Aureliano Santos de Araújo José Evangelista Da Silva João Luiz Da Silva Liria Kleyton Adriano Silva Larissa Rodrigues da Silva Ueda Sheila Fagundes Goulart Saulo Guimarães Santos Vaneska Maria de Melo Silva Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-03-25 2024-03-25 5 02 83 94 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1970 WRITING AND READING https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1975
This article aims to present the Writing and Reading Project: a Right for Everyone, developed by me for Escola Municipal Expedicionário Aquino de Araújo. The genesis occurs from concerns and questions as a teacher in the Municipal Networks of Rio de Janeiro (1990 to 1995) and Duque de Caxias (since 1987) in relation to learning to read and write by students and teaching by teachers. Throughout the work, the importance of orality is proposed, for two reasons: it precedes writing and is forgotten at school for the construction of a good text. Speaking and writing as different discursive practices in the same linguistic system. Writing as a point of arrival, as it is carried out in the social sphere. Thus, students are guaranteed the use of their citizenship and taught how to produce texts in the most varied situations. Writing will be given relevance because we live in a literate world where different textual genres circulate. How to teach without the main tool? The text. In this case, the literary text. Another occupation is the path to be taken between the starting point and the arrival point: the student's difficulty in elaborating, concatenating and articulating ideas to develop or transcribe what is thought. How to coordinate all this? How to understand and produce a text without other skills: listening, speaking and reading? Another relevant point is the teaching of grammar in the text, that is, the teaching of grammatical content through the handling of texts. Is Productive Language Teaching possible, filled with reflective activities, that is, creating epilinguistic analysis activities?
Kátia Nascimento Rodrigues Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-04-03 2024-04-03 5 02 95 111 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1975 SCIENTIFIC POLICE https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1976
This article aims to provide guidance and carrer vision with na emphasis on the technical-scientific police. This article presents a contribution to the study of intercultural teacher education, aiming to enhance knowledge through a literature review on the relevance of cultural conceptions. Furthermore, it seeks to innovate and propose new pedagogical models to address the challenges of interculturality, both in the behavior and professional practice of integrating teachers. Objective: To address the intercultural challenges present in the context of inclusive education, especially in the assistance provided to students with disabilities. This text is based on research by authors who contribute to theoretical understanding, assisting in applied classroom practice. The research primarily aims to answer the question: How does intercultural education contribute to pedagogical practice, considering public policies? Results: Through studies, projects, reflections, and research, it is evident that the debate on intercultural education is gaining prominence in Latin American societies. In this scenario, it is essential to promote interventions to ensure that government and academic community policy initiatives, in proposing degree courses, foster critical intercultural education capable of intervening in societal transformation and construction. Conclusion: Therefore, there is a need for pedagogical resources, teacher training to better serve students and connect with learning, as well as proper assessment of children.
Ereni Radeck Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-04-03 2024-04-03 5 02 120 136 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1977 THE WRITING PATHS OF REFLECTIVE TEACHERS https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1978
This article tried to investigate the contributions of writing reflective diaries for basic education teachers in the microregion of Jacobina under the eyes and sensitive listening in an action of productions authorized or not, in the records and/or signs/notes, in the activities in which referred to the preparation of training diaries (field, memorial, experiences and practices) that were to be characterized in a movement of (re)thinking didactic situations and or intervention projects or professional master's project to be configured in a cycle of reflection and redesign of their wanderings and teaching paths. Therefore, I focused on the data that were collected through questionnaires with open questions with the intention of understanding how teachers perceive themselves in this path of knowledge and experiences constructed and (re)elaborated. The data analysis showed that the students recorded the events in the notebook, demarcating their daily routines and from the perspective of a diary, immediately after the formalization of the knowledge projected in a space in the pedagogical notebook and/or notebook that depended on the school or the public sphere of activity. municipal or state. However, some carried out a detailed description of them without any “privilege” or appreciation of this route. Even so, the act of writing or doodling the praxis went beyond what was initially intended by most teachers/students or “lay” teachers, teachers considered “multipurpose” based on the distribution of the workload. The entire process of writing in class diaries or teaching plans and action plans gave us the opportunity to understand the reflection of a practice observed and aligned in one's own daily practice. It is important to mention that the entire didactic/pedagogical action was configured as a support to memory and enabled an “apparent” distance from lived experiences, allowing for a more dense analysis of these based on the formalization of knowledge in a specific research space. which we call Training Diary. Furthermore, the importance of the Teacher/trainer offering feedback, oral or written, and reflection on the reworking of the instruments used to signal events was highlighted, being systematized in a training agenda with pre-established tracks in the theoretical framework linked to a paradigm of research/action.
Rúbia Mara de Sousa Lapa Cunha Fabrício Oliveira Silva Copyright (c) 2024 Revista Gênero e Interdisciplinaridade 2024-04-03 2024-04-03 5 02 137 151 10.51249/gei.v5i02.1978 THE USE OF PLAY AS A FACILITATING TOOL TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIOEMOTIONAL SKILLS AT SCHOOL https://www.periodicojs.com.br/index.php/gei/article/view/1979
This article aims to highlight the contributions of play to the development of Socio-Emotional Skills at school, given the relevance of this topic.
